Aspen Pumps Introduces the Quietest, Most Reliable Mini Pumps in North America—Exclusively from The Malco Group

Next-generation Silent+Gen5 Series and Gen 4.5 Mini White lead the industry with true variable speed technology and intelligent sensing

ANNANDALE, MINN. (May 6, 2026) — The Malco Group, a leading manufacturer and distributor of professional-grade HVACR and building construction products in the Americas, has launched five new mini pump offerings from Aspen Pumps: the Silent+Gen5 Series and Mini White, now available for purchase at local HVACR distributors.

Aspen’s revolutionary Next-Gen Silent+ Gen5 Series Mini Pumps represent the quietest, smartest and most reliable mini pump technology designed for pros, engineers and installers who expect the best. From high-wall mini-splits to ceiling voids and premium retrofit installations, the mini pump lineup delivers intelligent adaptive flow, zero-maintenance sensing and plug-and-play simplicity that eliminates callbacks and boosts contractor confidence.

“Where these next-generation mini pumps really stand out is in intelligence and efficiency. Built with variable speed technology and a capacitance sensor, the pumps automatically adjust to system demand—operating only to what is required,” said Jeff Ponce, category director, condensate management at The Malco Group. “Designed to read both volume and flow thousands of times per second, the pumps adapt to usage patterns and learns how the system operates throughout the day. That means more consistent performance, less wasted energy and less wear on the pump.”

Silent+ Gen5 Series

The Silent+ Gen5 Series from Aspen Pumps is a full reinvention of condensate removal. The first to be engineered with intelligent capacitance sensing and next-generation variable speed technology, the series delivers whisper-quiet operation as low as 16 dB(A), unmatched reliability and the kind of installation flexibility contractors dream of.

The Silent+ Gen5 Series is available in four models that set a new standard for performance in the industry:

  • The power-packed Silent+ Mini White allows for external installations and is the go-to solution for residential installs where silence, flexibility and aesthetics are critical. Its slim undermount profile sits in the shadow line of the mini split, providing easy access for quick maintenance. The pump life is increased by advanced variable speed technology, offering premium performance and the highest flow rate in the Silent+ line, at an industry-leading 16 dB(A).
  • The ultra-slim Silent+ Mini Aqua integrates within high wall equipment and does not have any moving parts, enabling its ultra-quiet 16 dB(A) operation. This inside mount pump is hidden, providing an aesthetically pleasing install and is optimized for in-unit and remote installations, including floor-standing units, chassis units and lineset cover applications. This pump also features intelligent sensing that adapts performance automatically, reducing wear and helping to prevent callbacks.
  • The legendary Silent+ Mini Orange is engineered for concealed installations like ceiling voids. Because it can be mounted above and away from the unit, it’s ideal for smaller commercial and residential environments where silent operation is essential and installation space is limited. Mini Orange supports 11.33-ton systems with 9.25 US gallons of flow and 16 dB(A) sound levels.
  • COMING SOON! The Silent+ Mini Lime is installed in the elbow of the lineset cover. At just 16dB(A), this is the quietest and most versatile of elbow pumps. With its Monobloc design, the Mini Lime is simple and flexible to install, allowing contractors to quickly replace the pump with backwards compatible plug & play cable.

Aspen Pumps Gen4.5 Mini White

America’s best-selling mini pump just got better with the new, quiet and reliable Mini White. Designed for below-unit ductless mini-split installs, it delivers up to 5 gallons of flow, a 33-ft head and handles systems up to 7.5 tons/90,000 BTU/h—all at a whisper quiet 19 dB(A).

Similar to the Gen5, the new Mini White is a rotary diaphragm pump, which allows higher performance, reduced noise and ability to run dry. The difference is the multi-speed design: three speeds with ramping ability adjust to the height of the float to handle any debris in the line.

A major upgrade versus the previous Mini White is the new slim design, offering clean aesthetics. With an easy-access removable reservoir, it’s ideal for visible installs and residential and light commercial applications where straightforward maintenance matters most.

Benefits of Variable Speed Technology and Intelligent Capacitance Sensing

Aspen’s first-to-market variable-speed technology adjusts its performance to match the actual condensate production of the unit. In practical terms, that means the pump only runs when it needs to—and only at the speed required to move the water being produced at that moment.

When water touches the pump’s sensor, it alters the dielectric constant between two conductive plates. This change is instantly detected and translated into a water level reading. Aspen Next-Gen Mini Pumps also:

  • Don’t rely on optical clarity or mechanical movement, so they are unaffected by dirt or biofilm
  • Work through dirty, contaminated water, algae and debris that can block float or optical sensors
  • Do not contain any moving parts so there’s no jamming, clogging or wear
  • Provide continuous, accurate readings in all conditions

Aspen guarantees these are superior to any mini pump with a float switch, optical, pressure or temperature sensor.

The result is a system that operates more quietly and more intelligently. Avoiding constant full-speed cycling—common in traditional piston-style pumps—variable-speed technology reduces sound output while also improving overall efficiency. It’s a smarter way to manage condensate removal, especially for applications requiring noise control and clean finishes.
